Bloodstone Agate Pendants

Bloodstone is a green to greenish-blue chalcedony with red or brown spots, from which it gets its name. Also called heliotrope, it’s the traditional March birthstone. These stones are both cabochons, but quite different in appearance despite both being bloodstones. The rectangular prong-set piece has beautiful swirls of teal-green and many red specks, and the teardrop has dramatic bands of green, teal-green, brown, and dark green with paches of red and red specks. The teardrop pendant is about 2.5” long, including the bail and the rectangular pendant is roughly one inch long with a tube bail on the back. Sterling silver.
